Five Factors: Obama’s annual address from the Turkish perspective

US President Barrack Obama did not need to say (as he didn’t) the word “genocide” in his annual address last week in order to rile Ankara.

On April 25, two days after Obama’s speech in connection with Armenian Remembrance Day, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the White House and expressed his country's official stand – the address of the American president distorted the historic facts in favor of “the Armenian side”.

In his new book ,Davutoglu introduces Turkey's new 'International Position'_ Get down on all four and please the EU and the United States for the sake of genocide denial. Then he adds," Vhy ,yes, vee are new-Ottoman." Translation: No more traditional SHARVAL and FEZ. Instead, resumption of the same old Seljuk-nomad militaristic mentality/policy, but only dressed up in three piece suit. I would like to re-post the article of ,Robert Fisk, commenting on the Turkish-US relations pertaining the Armenian Genocide: http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/fisk/robert-fisk-holocaust-denial-in-the-white-house.399752.html I have no other comment.THNX.
