According to a Gallup International Association poll conducted last week, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and “Prosperous Armenia Party” (PAP) lead voter commitment some 10 days ahead of the May 6 parliamentary elections.

In a poll of 1,080 voters, Gallup determined that 76 percent of registered voters say they will take part in the election, while about 27 percent favor the ruling Republican Party of Armenia.

Although voter turnout is expected to be high according to the poll, 42 percent of the survey takers said they don’t expect any changes in the social life of Armenia as a result of a new parliament.
